Farewell 2009

2009 was an amazing year for me. No regrets.

I spent the first half of it working as a temporary teacher in SJK(C)Sg Buloh. I was lucky to get the job in the very last minute, or else I would probably live out the 6 months doing nothing at all. Made a lot of friends, both old and young, and collected invaluable experiences and memories along the way.

Second half of the year I made a decision that would hopefully change my life. I ditched offers from UM and NTU for a chance in UNSW. It might be a gamble for me so to speak, left my friends and family back home, but the return is promising in a way. I know I haven't blog much about my life here, mainly because I haven't been having an exciting life. However I am not complaining. Things will get better in the new year.

Another big happening in my life in 2009 was me starting to play a game called Left 4 Dead in Garena sometime in May. I met a lot of nice people from playing online (something I did not expect initially), made some very close friends e.g. Lemonerd, Soap Mactavish, Atomz, Reeza and more. To tell the truth, they have been the ones keeping my sanity in check during the days when I feel so homesick. Sometimes things do happen in an unexpected but good way. Even Lemon and Soap became a couple in real life. Thanks to an online game. x)

I have more to blog, but I prefer to just brief through the things that came to my mind. I'm blogging at 5am in the morning, because I will spend the next 18 hours in the city anticipating some New Year's Eve celebration. So before I sign off the last post for 2009,

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE READING THIS!!!!!

May 2010 unfolds exciting miracles in your lives. =D
