Hi readers,
I am back, but feeling extremely awkward blogging now because it has been a while. I had a post typed up last week, but blogger chose the wrong time to have maintenance, so it didn't save my post to drafts. In the end when I clicked 'publish', everything went to the bin. So well done blogger!
I have been back to Malaysia for 2.5 weeks now. I didn't plan to do much, so I did nothing much. I was at home most of the times, clearing up the mess I left in a rush 2 years ago. I seek for a goal in life because when I was in Sydney I had none. Thankfully I have found one, and I have a renewed motivation to chase after my dreams again.
I didn't make much effort to meet up with old friends. I can have a million excuses, but I decided to be honest. I am lazy to put on a game face. I wish to be myself, no need to please people.
Bersih 2.0 was one of the bigger highlights of my trip. I might not have joined the rally, but it gave me hope. A hope that one day Malaysia will be free of a corrupted government. A hope that one day I will be proud to tell people I am a Malaysian and I love my country very much. It wasn't just about challenging the government's authority. It was about sending a message to people across the nation: "You are not alone anymore.", and "Stop reading the fucking newspapers and watch TV3."
I have another 2 weeks left. Life is good.
