Adventures with the kitchen knife

Today I felt like experimenting in the kitchen again, so I decided to make some curry chicken for dinner. First prepare the ingredients! Well I don't have a list of instructions to follow unlike in the physics lab, so I just improvise what to put in. Obviously you eat potatoes and chicken in curries. And maybe some minced garlic and onions too to add flavour to it.

Ignore the mushroom on the far right. I screwed up. It's for another dish. Then start the fire and throw everything into a pot.

I'm a lazyyyyyy chicken eater, so just chicken breast for me. xD
Next comes the secret ingredient part. I use:

Haha! I'm not advertising here, but just to make a point, any brand works fine. No extra coconut milk needed because it is included.

Finally close the pot, simmer until chicken is cooked(from the instructions behind the packet). I decided to simmer approximately 30 minutes because I messed up by adding a tad more water. Hey, its an amateur attempt!

I fancy being more subtle when I cook, hence I tried to close the door and ventilate the kitchen by using the back window and fan instead. However the aroma I made inevitably attracted my housemates like flies! LOL. They gave a couple of compliments, so in return I offered dinner together. Too bad they had dinner earlier.

Dinner's ready!

Closer shot.

Taste wasn't too bad! Exceeded my expectation of being categorised as just edible. Definitely will get better the next time. x)
