Long-distance relationships

Brrrr. I love driving at night minus the naggings to go home early.

Went out for tea with some form 5 buddies and I realized most friends from my age who are having relationships face a big obstacle: university. As most of them have to further their studies in different universities around the world, this means separation from their other halves and embark on a risky long-distance relationship. It takes patience and a lot of commitment to get it work out, but often (sad to say),
it doesn't.

I'd say it's not the time for a relationship, cause it's not worth pursuing something that rarely works out. Yes it may be rewarding, but if it doesn't work out then it leads to heartbreak? I wouldn't like that.

Besides, I put friends first more than anything other than family. Family of course, stays at the top.

I'm happy with life in that sense.
