Crapping?

Why do we always want something we can’t get, and sometimes don’t want something we can get too easily? Well maybe cause things we assume we can’t get easily are more valuable and getting them somehow enriches us. Sometimes the process of getting that hard-to-get thing might even make that thing more worthy when we got them. But the truth is, we humans will never be contented with life. We just want more even if we already had more. The power of desire drives us on with life, and it is not the very different power that can crush us. Another funny thing is, when we lose things we assume that are easy to get, only then we start to appreciate those things and regret the times we still own them.

Moral of the story? Wanting something bigger might be a priority in life, but while pursuing it, don’t forget to look back to see if you have dropped anything behind. You would never know how important are they to you. (=

Today, David invited me, Vinc Yuee, Sarah and Bi Wei to a sports event organized for his church. Well he needed some experienced people with track events and who else to call but the professionals….hehh…
It wasn’t a day with the best weather. Standing 10 hours underneath the sun was worst than duty in school. Much more to complain, but I thought David must have his own set of complains too. Haha.. But nonetheless, we had fun cracking jokes the whole day. David, if you read this, don’t forget you still owe us a meal!
