Okay, I’ve left my blog too long until I had virtual dust covered all over. It’s time to blow them away and turn over to a new page.
I have neglected my blog (this time) because I’m just too busy…..not! Crap, I’m just too free for the past 2 months. Nothing interesting happened over this god-forsaken 2 months, so I decided not to blog. (YAY.)
So since I won’t have anymore frequent visitors, I might as well keep my post as simple as my life. Simple and spontaneous, no more head cracking just to post issues that pleases my readers. Do enjoy my new blogging style though.
Spiderman 3, the most awaited movie of the year, is coming to our cinemas next month. I’ve been a big fan of spiderman, used to watch his cartoons every Sunday morning, and I did enjoy the movies so much! I remember watching Spiderman 2 in the theatres when I was in form 3 then. The movie wasn’t much about spidey kicking asses, but more to how Peter Parker handles life conflicts in himself. He has to make many choices living in a double life, like ffk-ing dates with Mary-Jane just to save lives. So girl thinks boy not serious, girl then dates other boy, breaks boy’s heart. Finally boy shows true identity, melts girls heart, calls him tiger (Peter’s nickname by MJ). Well seriously, I was touched by the movie, making it one of my unforgettable movies of all time.
What made the movie more unforgettable was the theme song: Vindicated by Dashboard Confessionals. The song is meaningful and sad, both expressed through rhythmic guitar riffs and drumbeats. You may not hear many rock songs that bring in the sad feeling. Peter Parker was vindicated when MJ realized he didn’t miss the dates on purpose.
Somehow I hoped Spiderman 3 would have good soundtracks like the former. I was not disappointed. I heard the song on Hitz.fm one morning. It was Signal Fire by Snow Patrol. The richness of the song left me in trance. I never realize Snow Patrol would do so well after Chasing Cars. Well I didn’t really like Chasing Cars for its simple music. The whole song was repeating the same music pattern. Signal Fire wasn’t. It reminded me of Coldplay in their prime. Mild in the verse, high in the chorus. It was so darn good that I downloaded the song right away. When I watch their music video on Youtube, I was surprised yet again.
The video is so freaking cute! And the effects are actually a lot like the real thing. My vote for the best music video of 2007. LOLz!
